Safety in Barbados must not be taken for granted. Therefore, it is extremely important that all of us who understand how significant this matter is, join in one voice to bring order to our home’s, roads, and work environments.

MakeItSafe – MIS is a leading forum for developing and promoting solutions to safety problems, in Barbados.

MakeItSafe – MIS is a non-profit, non-governmental association that aims to educate the public on all matters pertaining to safety and to do all possible to assist with campaigns, publications, laws and attitudes to promote safety to save lives.

Our primary objectives are:

• To provision and boost partnerships between Safety Professionals, Private Sector, and Government.
• To campaign for the adoption of a ‘Safe Approach’ to casualty reduction.
• To encourage good practice and sharing knowledge.
• To acknowledge achievement and innovation.
• To show the commitment of Sponsors to reducing casualties

The Executive Committee comprises a team that are hard-working individuals, who volunteer their personal time and services and, in many cases, put safety before themselves to get the job done.

The public is invited to join the association with the aim of strengthening the team, and the drive, for a safer Barbados.
